Welcome to PupLand — a friendly, LGBTQ+ welcoming Minecraft SMP built around the pup play community. Whether you want to build your dream den, complete pack missions, explore new lands, or just hang out with fellow pups, this guide covers everything.
Getting Started 🐾
The moment you join PupLand for the first time:

Land Claiming 🏠
Land claiming is how you protect your builds. Anything inside your claim is 100% safe — nobody else can break blocks, open chests, or interact.
Step by step
- 1Craft or find a Golden Shovel — this is your claim tool!
- 2Walk to one corner of the area you want to protect.
- 3Right-click the ground with your Golden Shovel at that corner.
- 4Walk to the opposite corner and right-click again.
- 5A golden border will appear showing your claim — you're protected!
- 6To inspect who owns land, hold a Stick and right-click any block.

Pup tip: Claim around the outside of your build, not just inside — protect the whole area including your garden and farm. Unclaimed land can be griefed!

Server Features ✨

VeinMiner — Smart Mining
- Hold Sneak (Shift) while mining an ore to break the entire connected vein.
- Works with pickaxes on all ores — coal, iron, gold, diamond, emerald, redstone, lapis, copper, ancient debris.
- Max vein size is 64 blocks so your pickaxe doesn't get destroyed.

TreeAssist — Smart Chopping
- Use an axe to trigger auto-chop.
- Break any log in a tree and the whole tree comes down.
- Works on all tree types including mangrove, cherry, and nether wood.
- Player-placed logs are tracked and NOT auto-chopped — your builds are safe.

Random Teleport — Explore!
- Use /rtp to teleport to a random location.
- Great for finding a fresh spot to build your den far from spawn.
- There's a 5-minute cooldown between uses.

One Player Sleep
- Only one pup needs to sleep to skip the night!
- Just one pup in a bed moves everyone to morning.

Scoreboard & Tab List
- Right-side scoreboard shows your name, rank, balance, and ping at all times.
- Press TAB to see the PupLand header, online pups, world time, and your ping.
Economy 💰
- Start with $100 on your first join.
- Check your balance with
/balance. - Pay other pups with
/pay <player> <amount>. - See the richest pups with
/balancetop.
Top Tips for New Pups 🐾
- 🏠Always claim your land before building! Unclaimed land can be griefed by anyone. Get your golden shovel early.
- 📦Place a chest first. GriefPrevention automatically creates a small protective claim around your first placed chest.
- 🏡Type /sethome right away. Once you find your spot, save it immediately so you can always get back.
- 📜Check /quests often. Pack missions give you XP and are a great way to progress while exploring.
- 🌍Use /rtp to explore. Find a beautiful spot far from spawn before settling down.
- ⛏️Hold Shift to VeinMine. When mining ores, hold sneak to mine the whole vein at once.
- 🪓Use an axe to chop trees. TreeAssist will take down the whole tree automatically.
- 💬Ask for help! The community is friendly — don't be shy. The pack looks after each other!
