๐Ÿพ PupLand SMP โ€” Announcement ๐Ÿพ

Hey pack,

Quick update โ€” I'm stepping back from my role as founder for a bit. Some stuff in my personal life needs my full attention right now, so I need to step away and get that handled.

The important stuff:

  • The server isn't going anywhere. Hosting stays paid, PupLand stays up.
  • This isn't goodbye โ€” I'll be back when I've got things sorted on my end. No set date, just taking the time I need.
  • Admins/mods will keep things running day-to-day while I'm out. If you need something handled, reach out to them.

Appreciate this community more than you know. Take care of each other while I'm gone. ๐Ÿพ

Second chances

Appeal a ban or warning ๐Ÿพ

Staff are human and mistakes happen โ€” on both sides. If you were warned, muted, or banned on the PupLand SMP Minecraft server or Discord, you can ask for a review. Everyone gets a fair, calm read.

This page is maintained by PupLand SMP staff as editable site content.

How the appeal process works

1

Cool off first

Wait at least 24 hours before appealing. Appeals written while upset almost never go well for anyone.

2

Join the Discord

Appeals happen on Discord. If you're banned in-game you can still appeal there; if you're banned from Discord too, ask a friend to tag staff for you.

3

Open an appeal ticket

Use the #appeals channel or send a polite, private DM to a staff member. One appeal at a time โ€” don't message every staff member.

4

Fill in the appeal template

Copy the template below and answer every field honestly. Missing details slow your review down.

5

Wait for a review

Two staff members read every appeal where possible. You'll get a decision and a short reason.

6

Come back to the pack

If your appeal is accepted, staff will lift or reduce the action and explain what to avoid next time.

Appeal template

Copy this into your appeal ticket or DM and fill it in. Honest answers help far more than perfect ones.

**PupLand SMP Appeal**
Minecraft username:
Discord username:
What action are you appealing? (warning / mute / temp ban / perm ban)
Date it happened (approx.):
Which staff member issued it (if known):
Why were you actioned? (in your own words)
Why do you think it should be reviewed?
What will you do differently?
Anything else staff should know (screenshots, context, witnesses):

Timelines & who reviews it

  • Warnings & mutes: usually reviewed within 48 hours.
  • Temporary bans: usually reviewed within 3โ€“5 days.
  • Permanent bans: may take up to 7 days, and a second staff member reviews it.
  • The staff member who issued the action does not decide the appeal alone whenever another staff member is available.
  • If more than 7 days pass with no reply, you may send one polite follow-up.

What staff look at

The evidence

Chat logs, block logs, screenshots, and staff notes from the incident.

Your history

Whether this was a first slip or part of a repeated pattern.

Impact on others

Whether anyone was harmed, harassed, or lost builds and items.

Your response

Whether the appeal shows you understand what happened and how you'd handle it differently.

Possible outcomes

  • Accepted: the action is lifted and any strike is cleared or reduced.
  • Reduced: a permanent ban becomes temporary, or a ban becomes a warning.
  • Upheld: the action stands, with a short explanation of why.
  • Deferred: you're asked to wait a set period before appealing again.

You may submit one new appeal every 30 days unless staff tell you otherwise. Appeals that are hostile, spammed, or made on alt accounts will be closed without review, and ban evasion makes a permanent ban very unlikely to be lifted.

Bans & enforcement ๐Ÿšซ

Not every action can be appealed. Some bans are final the moment they're issued.

Console & AI bans โ€” no appeals

Bans issued by the server console or by our automated/AI anti-cheat and chat systems are FINAL. No unban requests are accepted for these, and appeal tickets about them are closed without review.

Ban evasion

Joining on an alt account while banned adds a permanent ban to every linked account and ends any chance of a review.

Zero-tolerance bans

Hate speech, homophobia, transphobia, harassment of minors, doxxing, or threats are permanent and are not reduced on appeal.

Cheating & exploits

X-ray, kill aura, duping, and macro abuse are detected automatically. Detection-based bans are console bans โ€” see above.

Right to refuse service

The Administration of Pupland SMP reserves the absolute right, at its sole and unreviewable discretion, to refuse service, deny access, or terminate the hosting of any player, user, or account at any time, for any reason or no reason at all, with or without prior notice.

Participation on Pupland SMP is a privilege, not a right. The Administration maintains full authority over the server's digital environment and reserves the right to permanently or temporarily ban, restrict, or suspend any individual whose conduct is deemed detrimental to the community, operations, or integrity of the server.

All virtual assets, ranks, items, and in-game progress associated with a terminated account are subject to immediate forfeiture. Pupland SMP and its staff shall not be held liable for any perceived losses resulting from the exercise of this right.

Reporting a staff decision or another player

If you feel a staff member acted unfairly or you need to report harassment, message a different staff member privately on Discord โ†—. Reports are handled quietly and we never punish someone for reporting in good faith.

This appeal process describes how PupLand SMP staff currently handle reviews. It is a community process, not a legal procedure or guarantee of any particular outcome. Full rules live in our Terms of Service.
